| Anyone interested in quilts or quilt making is invited to join Ocean Waves regardless of skill level or area of interest in quilting fiber arts. Our chapter promotes interest in all aspects of quilting. Members share mutually in skill development for quality quilt making, have the opportunity to show their creations, and provide community service through educating the public and donating quilts to worthwhile recipients. To implement these goals, the Chapter holds monthly meetings, publishes a newsletter, ;and has a show or participates in a community display including fiber arts. Current information about activities nationally, statewide, or local quilt groups is discussed or is available at the membership table in the form of handouts. |
| The membership table is just inside the meeting room door to welcome members and guests. This is the place to get your bearings, check your name tab, ask questions, say "hello," find a guild mentor, become a new member, or renew membership. Our membership year is from February through January. Membership dues should be paid not later than the February meeting to have your information in the directory. After that date all renewals, updates, and relevant information will be placed in the newsletter. Dues may be paid at a meeting or by sending your check directly to the Membership VP. Make your check payable to Ocean Waves (Memo line: Membership). Membership dues rates are: $40 regular $35 senior (62+ years) $30 youth (12 - 17 years) |
