Ocean Waves Quilt Guild
NQA 296
Ocean Waves Chapter, NQA #296, was
founded in January 1985, and chartered
by the national Quilting Association on
May 1, 1985.

Our chapter goals are to promote
interest in all aspects of quilt making,
to allow members to develop skills, and
to display their creations.

We hold monthly meeting, publish a
newsletter and website, and organize
workshops.  At our monthly meetings
current information about the activities
of other national, state, local quilters,
and quilt groups are discussed.
Member's works are shown and
admired.

Ocean Waves has over 75 members
with a monthly attendance around 45
members.  Anyone interested in quilts
or quilt making is invited to become a
member, regardless of skill lever or area
of interest.

Classes and workshops cover a wide
range of quilting/fiber art.  For those
members that want more information
on a subject, our library of about 1100
books may help.

Ocean Waves members gather together
for camaraderie and community service,
sharing their talents and each other's
company in making quilts for the
benefit of our local community as well
as national causes.
